The club have taken the decision that over the next 6 months to fully integrate the Scottish Golf Venue Management System (SG VMS). This will be completed in a staged process starting with education on how to setup and use the SG VMS APP for competitive scoring and booking a tee time. Over the next week I would ask that all golfing members to download the free Scottish Golf App via the Google Play Store or the Apple App Store and sign up.
On the week commencing the 22nd (See Next Weeks Newsletter for full details) Scottish Golf will host an online webinar on behalf of Hopeman GC that all members can join. This will be an introductory session on how to use the app along with a Q&A session.
Once you have downloaded the app please don’t book into any tee time or any competition as they are not live and will only cause problems further down the line.
Should current restrictions ease the aim is to have a couple of trial weeks (non-counting) using the APP. On Saturday 4th July the “Opening Clydesdale Medal” is pencilled in to start playing the “Summer” season from Jul-Nov.
