Dear Members,
Firstly, we trust that everybody is keeping safe and enjoying their golf.

As you are all aware the Scottish Government announced the introduction on Phase 2 yesterday which was followed by advice from Scottish Golf.
As a result of the relaxation of restrictions for Phase 2 we are pleased to announce that 3 and 4 balls will be permitted. 4 balls have the restriction of only 3 different households participating. Our booking system will be set up for this and be available from Saturday 20th June onwards.

We are also pleased to announce that competitive golf will start on 4th July, a revised calendar is being prepared and details will follow in due course. In the intern we will be trialling the new Scottish Golf scoring app with a couple of  non counting sweeps.

We would like to take the opportunity to acknowledge recent donations by members and voluntary support given to the club over the past weeks. We have had a new starting clock for the first tee donated by a member. In addition another member has donated a Scotty Cameron putter which will raffled for club funds. You both know who you are, thank you very much for your generous gestures.

Thanks also to those who have given their valuable time in supporting the green staff, club house refurbishment and the website. A special mention  goes to Katy and Stuart in preparing 121 meals in the clubhouse on Tuesday as part of the Community Lunch Initiative. Great effort.

Ian McPherson,

PresidentOn Behalf of the Club Council.
