Good afternoon all,

Trust this finds you all safe and well.

Just a brief update on what has happened since we went into lock down.

All the staff excluding Scott, the greenkeeper, continue to be furloughed on the Government scheme and will be the case until further notice. The course is in good order and thanks to Scott for his efforts and Dave Harris for giving him some support on a voluntary basis.

The above measures all in line in doing what we can to minimise our costs in the current situation. We are updating our budget forecast as we clearly anticipate a negative impact from loss of visitors, bar and catering revenue. In addition we are pleased to announce that we have successfully been awarded £25,000 from the Governments Business Award scheme through Moray Council. This will go a long way to support our cash position as we go forward.

We are hoping that potential exit strategy from the current lockdown will have golf as part of the relaxed restrictions going forward. This will obviously be a measured approach with Health and Safety of staff and members paramount and likely to be in place for a number of months. However until such time as these are confirmed hopefully you stay safe and well. We will keep you informed of any further developments.
