Over the winter months we commenced the course improvements which has included cutting back the gorse bushes at the 1st, 2nd, 10th, 5th, 13th and 14th.
1st hole, a new bunker has been created at the right hand side of the fairway. The bunker up beside the green has been moved closer to the green. Gorse bushes have been cleared to open up the views of the Moray Firth.
2nd hole, the two bunkers have been filled in and a new one has been created closer to the green at the left hand side.
5th hole, gorse bushes have been cut back to the tree line and two new bunkers have been created at the dog leg. Some trees have been removed at the green to make it fairer.
10th hole, gorse bushes cut back at the right hand side of the green to open it up and make it more playable.
13th hole, gorse bushes cut back to open up the views.
14th hole, the two bunkers have been filled in and gorse bushes cut back at the left of the green.

All areas where gorse bushes have been cut will be GUR until further notice.
The two new bunkers at the 5th hole will not be in play this season.
Greens have been verti drained once a month throughout the winter and a monthly feed has been applied.
Tees have been verti drained and fed.
We will be top dressing tees and greens over the next few weeks, putting sand into the bunkers, applying iron to the fairways, applying fertiliser to the greens and general course maintenance.
